Breaking up is hard to do

January 24, 2018

Good evening everyone , as most of you might have guessed most of the people that come in to see me want relationship advice right ? some of the relationships are actually worth keeping but most bad relationships I've discovered the person trying the hardest to keep it together is not actually happy with the relationship but instead in love with the idea of being in one instead of the actual person . As humans we tend to daydream of our future plans and imagine what life will be like (example ) the pic of the white picket fence and whatever else this picture of our future selves might look like which btw is perfectly normal most of us as humans do this but that doesn't mean that its right to do , I'll explain , Of course it's perfectly ok to daydream because these dreams are a blueprint of are potential but sometimes the the ppl we place in our scene have a completely different dream that does'int  even resemble yours in the least and it feels that if this person walks off of our set it's as if we have to tear the whole thing down (meaning) the dream .We become so fixated on our plans that we can't see what's right in front of us and this causes us to not be present and miss all the cues that are pointing out that this just simply is not going anywhere and nor do I want it too . Most of us jump hoops to keep the fire alive and sometimes these hard efforts actually do pay off  and end up in a marriage that ends up in divorce . It's so important to remember in a relationship that you need to be present , listening and speaking as well , there's no harm in asking questions early on and making sure that the both of you share the same dream and if compromise and adjustments need to be made that's ok . Some of us even stay in a relationship that we're not really happy in because of a fear of change , being alone or going through the dating thing all over again . I say this , make sure everything is right and on the up and up ,don"t be afraid there are so many parts to your life that can be fulfilling and why would you want to miss out on the chance of being with someone that might in fact be a better match for you . Take a step back maybe even write down what you want in a significant other . Thank you so much for reading this post . I do look forward to doing a reading for you .

Sincerely .

Christine.
